Award-winning South African director, Amy Allais is one of the founding partners of Ola! Films. She’s undergone various phases in her commercials directing career, from massive choreographed dance spots to comedy performance, to an inadvertent specialization in kids and babies that has taken her all over the globe. A graduate of AFDA, South Africa’s elite drama and film university, she began directing commercials in 2005, and has barely stopped for a breath since. she has shot all over the world, P&G, Unilevers, Johnsons.etc. 

Her Pepsico TVC shot in Turkey, was featured on Shots last year. 

Currently she’s thrilled about reaching beyond the commercials sphere and has received great acclaim for her first ever music video, “Biggest Curse” by the Original Swimming Party feat. Moonchild Sanelly. Currently travelling the festival circuit around the world, the video was a finalist at the Berlin MVAs and Raindance London, and won Best Music video at the inaugural Ciclope Africa in 2019.
